Perfect Guy But....

Hey Fam! Yeah so as you can see it's Tuesday! We went to Mindelo for mission tour which left us with basically no time to email this week :/ buuuut it´s been amazing! Mission tour was great but it´s been even better visiting my recent converts and friends here in Monte Sossego!!! I love seeing them again and their reactions when I pop up in the doorway! I thought I ́d never get to come back here so today has been a massive blessing! I love the mission and the opportunity to be here to serve and love all these people, they've changed my life!

What So I´m Snotty and I´m Not Gonna Get Married!

Hey Fam!!! Wow, this week was really cool, we had two baptisms! Which is always a fun time, even if the primary activity in our branch ran late into our baptism and we ended up with more kids at our baptism than should ever be in one place at one time. Hahaha, kind of a mess and lots of cleaning in the aftermath, but we were just happy to get our boys baptised!
This week we also made lots of cool new friends! Including a drunk man that crashed one of our lessons and turned out to be a less active *face palm* haha, but I think we got street cred with our investigators for handling the situation so well because afterwards they were super excited to mark with us to talk again, lol. We also went on a fun adventure to palmeira for a zone activity, so I hope yáll enjoy the pics.
This week me and Sister Dille also spent a lot of time talking about the justice and mercy of God and how essentially as long as we do right by God we don't have to worry about much anything else. Which, tbh, sometimes can be a serious test of faith because were human and satan plays dirty, but so long as we trust in Christ, it´ll all work out in the end, which is just a comforting thing to rely on :) we ́ve also gotten sucked into a couple of talks about the celestial language, lol, but we've yet to come to any serious conclusion if anyones got ideas about that.
Love you all and hope yall have an amazing week <3

There Aint No Platypus Controlling ME!

Hey Fam!!!
Wow, what a week! This week went by really fast but at the same time tons happened, so that's always fun. To start it off I went to Praia for MLC which is always an adventure, travel and sleep deprivation on the mission really is just something else. Hahaha, also another fun fact is that Sal is the only island with a solo zone leader so I went to mlc just me and Elder Alfaro, hahaha, totally adding him to my PMG comp. list, jk jk. But MLC was amazing especially because my entire mtc group was there!!! A reunion to say the least. We also had some other adventures amidst travel, new shoes, black cats, family nights, deep doctrine and apple cinnamon cake. Sometimes email just can't capture all that really goes on in the mission. But I ́m so grateful to be here helping my cape verdean friends, preaching the gospel and having all these silly little adventures and growing experiences along the way.
Scripture story for y'all to read this week is Ether chapters 1-3. It´s a goodie! Something I especially like to think about when I read this story is, how can I prepare myself, my life or strengthen my faith, so that I can receive the blessing of the Lord? Yep, hope y'all have fun with that one! Love you all so much, everybody write down some things your grateful for and get ready to light the world!

A Righteous Roast In The African Crockpot

Wow, what a week! Pretty sunny, pretty sweaty, we had lots of laughs and lots of appointments fall, but it´s all just part of the Lords plan out here in the "African Crockpot". Even on our rough days I´m always amazed by the tender mercies and miracles the Lord gives us here. I love the people of Cape Verde so much and I would choose the same bad tan lines and hair loss all over again if that´s what it came down to. I can't imagine having spent the last year and so of my last anywhere else. I love you all and hope y'all remember to always read your scriptures because if ya ain't readin yo scriptures ery day you wastin yo time.
