Deep Breathly

Hi,
Getting old is weird and I don't like it. Just so you know. But this week has been a special one, no matter how much time I have on the mission, I never stop learning nor realizing just how little and imperfect I am, haha. But I ́m so grateful for the chance our Father in Heaven gives us to do and be something more through his works. I love Sister Pierson, I may be her mom, but she ́s taught me so much. "The end", honestly kind of a weird and stressful time but it's good, God is good and Christmas season is amazing! So grateful for every last moment to be here. Everybody remember to sing some Christmas music (we're singing a loooot of Christmas music) and light the world!!!

Angels? We Have Heard On High

Hello Family!
It's been another good week. I travelled to Praia once again to pick up my greenie. She's a cutie, she speaks the language really well already and I honestly don't think I could ́ve chosen myself a better last comp. The work is moving forward, after passing a lot of time outside of the area for the past couple weeks we ́re starting at square one, lol, lots and lots of contacting. Which of course always makes for some fun and interesting experiences, but always cool to meet new people and make new friends. People here are super nice and open (usually).
We had a particularly interesting first lesson with a man who was very adamant  that we should be holding our sabbath day worship on saturday. It was honestly just kinda funny how he couldn ́t stop talking about or move on from the subject, but it got me thinking about how everyone kinda does that sometimes. We let one doubt hold us back from learning something bigger, we may become so focused on our doubts we can't even make sense of it enough to receive an answer. For some, they replace their testimonies and beliefs with doubts... When we focus on growing our testimonies, when we focus on Christ, He empowers us to overcome and answer doubts. When we let our doubts grow, they don't just consume our testimonies but they also destroy our relationship with God. So, just to echo Elder Uchtdorf ́s wisdom: "Doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith".
Annnnyyyyways, that's about all I ́ve got for today, but I wish you all a lovely week and encourage everyone to keep up Lighting the World this christmas season.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Whelp, what a wild week it´s been. We've been travelling essentially the entire week because of mission tour in Sao Vicente with Elder Massimo De Feo and I went to MLC in Praia, so your girl has been busy! But it was so amazing because I had the chance to see several recent converts and old companion!!! What a blessing! I love all the amazing people I've had the opportunity to meet while being here, the mission truly has been the best thing I´ve done in my life, hope you all enjoy the pictures and everybody make sure to start lighting the world!!! Happy December!
PS. I´m training again this transfer so everybody get ready for pics of my new fidja :)
