Ola Familia!
Ola Familia!
This week has been one of ups and downs. We have officially knocked every house in Domingo Lobo except one. We'll get to that one too this week though. We had divisions this week with the sisters in Mosteiros, which was cool, except because of some transportation difficulties we all ended up in the same area together for the day, haha. But hey, we got a weeks worth of new investigators and a date mark in one afternoon: milagres.
I've officially washed clothes (and not just baby clothes) by hand and though my palms may be bruised, there's a sense of satisfaction in proving that my fraca, branca, corpo is capable of washing and ringing out jeans by hand. We help people with that a lot here, but normally they only let us ring out the clothes.
My thoughts are super scattered this week, sorry about that, that's just kinda how this week has been, but it's also been great! We get to help out with the stake choir which has been so fun and there's been so much going on this transfer with Christmas, mission tour and everything. It only makes the time go by faster. By the end of this week, the transfer will be half way over and I still feel that it's only just begun! Also, yesterday I was feeling pretty down after we couldn't find one of our investigators for church, but I suppose everything happens in it's own time because then at church we had eight less actives come who we've been working with forever. So maybe things don't always happen the way we want them or when we want them, but in it's own time everything comes according to the Lord's plan, because even when we aren't there to help people every step or sometimes it seems like something will never happen or change, it's important to remember that the spirit works to change and help people for a long time after we leave. The teaching Sister and I do is only the invitation of the spirit and the knowledge they need to receive true conversion.
