This week passed as though is were the blink of an eye, the majority of it at least. Anyways, a couple of these week adventures included an hour long"walk" to cha de tanque, a small village ths part of our area. But when we got there and started talking to people they said that every weekend two little white young men like us talk to people there, etc, etc. So we were like, oh must have been a mix up and this actually part of some elders area, but then afterward we asked all the elders in our zone and it's not part of any of their areas...so either those people were talking to Jehovah Wittnesses or the Three Nephites, hahaha. Anyways, my computer is broken and making it difficult to type, so here's a brief summary of some of the other events from this week.
- We did a division with the some of the young woman in our ward and it was amazing! I wish I had done this as a young woman, their testimonies our so strong and it's amazing the affect it has in inviting the spirit and touching our investigators.
- An evangelist pastor is forbidding people in his congregation to read the Book of Mormon :(
- And I was pretty close to a mental breakdown because of the cockroach infestation in our house but it's okay now, I'm at peace with it.
- But we had a super miraculous day Tuesday and we found a woman who lives in one of my old areas that I'd never met but that I tried to find because of her name in our area book, but I found her and she's talking to the sisters their now!!! And we went to share a spiritual thought with her so I pulled a Book of Mormon out of my bag for her to use and it was in English! I had been carrying a useless English bom around for hours! Buuuut when she saw it she got so excited because she'd been wanting one in English but hadn't managed to find one! So then the spirit was super strong and Sister Barbosa and I could just feel that the Lord had sent us there because it's this woman time to accept the gospel, anyways, then our lesson ended up being super powerful and she promised to go to church! And basically every little tiny thing starting from literal months ago was prepared by the Lord for this one encounter! I can't even fully describe all of it or how amazing it was but man, it was mind blowing. #milagressaoreais
- Also Cintia (an eleito that me and Sis. Pasi found in Monte Sossego) got baptized this last week! One of those sad things about transfers is that you can't always get to see how things turn out but I'm so happy for her!
1. Uma querida
2. Mais uma querida (I'm so lucky to know these people)
3. The road to Cha de Tanque
4. Clifs
5. Divisions with these cuties
6. Doesn't matter how much I tan, I'm still soooo white.
7. Rainy days and...I think this was Thursday?
8. We found yet another part of our area we did know existed, don't ask me how to get there but now we've gotta find some way because the eleitos always live in the farthest away places!
9. Peace out (lysee, sara, 20/20 ;)
