Our dreams of going to Cidade Velha were finally realized this P-day!
It was actually low-key uneventful but like still way pretty.
We went with our recent-convert Daiana because she is the coolest, basically our best friend and an amazing tour guide, lol.
This dog and this monkey were playing together and it was sooooo cute!
Hiace ride! Haven't been in a hiace not driven by the AP's since fogo. Saudades!
I bartered these necklaces for us from four dollars to one... in creole. I've peaked in life.
Fam Bam!
Pictures at the beginning this time! Surprise! This week was kinda crazy, there was a weird emergency transfer thing in my zone so I spent like three days in another area with Sister Parks, who is one of my favorite people in existence but when were together we slowly turn into each other so it was a fun three days, haha. But in those three days I missed my area so stinkin much! Goodness I love these people, they're like my children. Also we were speaking in english and now that I've come back I keep trying to speak to Sister Patricio in english, haha, luckily she's patient with me.
Milagres! Miracles here in Palmarejo. So many great things have been happening here and we're teaching so many people that have so much desire and drive and they're just sooo amazing. It was sooo cute yesterday, our lil pesquisador Rafa who's 13, we were talking to him about his baptism date and if he'd prayed to receive an answer about the BOM and his eyes lit up as he started to talk about how he felt when he prayed and that he believed the book of mormon is true. He also invited two of his friends to talk with us too and brought them to church! Tears, happy tears, He's not technically my child, buuuuut nha fidjo! Proud momma moment! I couldn't be more happy to teaching and serving all of them!!!! Anyways, I know my letters are like a paragraph and don't make sense these days but just know that life is good here in Cabo Verde and that the work of the Lord is hastening on!
