Fam Bam,

Whelp, the mission carries on ever so fast and confusing as usual. Haha, this last week we had a baptism planned but when we showed up at his house on monday he had a giant black eye, a bandage on his head and three stitches! I guess some kid threw a rock at him when they were playing. *facepalm* He can't get that bandage wet and it won't be taken off til this week.  We postponed his baptism but it's actually turning out really good because now it looks like he'll be baptized the same day as two of his friends :) also, it was the cutest because then he told us about how all the other kids were saying he should throw a rock back at that one kid but he told them that he'd read a verse in the Book of Mormon that says we need to forgive people of their offenses :') I had such a proud mama moment, he's such a smart and amazing kid!!! It feels like all these people that we teach are our children because we have such an amazing opportunity to bring them the gospel and watch them learn and grow and you can't help but just love them all so so much.

I'm so grateful for the mission and all these people i've met here that have become part of my "extended family".  People always talk about the mission like it's such a sacrifice and it certainly is hard sometimes, but honestly the hardest part is growing so attached and having to leave these people behind. I can't believe we only have three weeks left in this transfer, It'd be cool to have a change but I can't imagine leaving Palmarejo.

Also, something cool about general conference, we had an investigator go that before hand wasn't super interested and skeptical about the Book of Mormon, but afterwards everything changed and now she's been asking us how she can study the Book of Mormon and where she can find the Conference Talks! So cool! #theprophetssaysitbetterthanwecan
